How Florida taxes your paycheck in 2026
Florida has no state income tax, so nothing is withheld for the state. There are no employee-paid state payroll taxes (Florida's reemployment tax is paid by employers) and no local income taxes, so only federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare come out of a Florida paycheck.
City and county taxes
Florida cities and counties do not tax wages.
