How New Hampshire taxes your paycheck in 2026

New Hampshire does not tax wages, so nothing is withheld from your paycheck for the state. Its tax on interest and dividends was repealed starting with 2025, so in 2026 the state has no personal income tax at all. There are no mandatory employee-paid state payroll taxes and no local income taxes.

City and county taxes

New Hampshire cities and towns do not tax wages.
